I went to the Palace of Fine Arts, and this is what I captured.

The Palace of Fine Arts is a monumental structure located in the Marina District of San Francisco, California, originally built for the 1915 Panama–Pacific International Exposition to exhibit works of art. It was constructed from concrete and steel.

Nice shot TopCat, nice touch with the ducks in the foreground. It must be at least 40 years since I've been there, I don't remember the columns being pink.

Thank you.
There were a lot of birds there. There are some GBH and Black Crowned Night herons. I didn't have a good lens for capturing them, but they are usually not the best specimens anyway. A lot of ducks and seagulls. Lots of them.

The columns on the side of the rotunda are pink. I don't remember if they were always that colour or when they did an upgrade.

You took a place that everyone is familiar with, and made it your own.
