For a flickr challenge, "Water." Both were shot from the driver's seat of my parked car, the first out the side window, the second through the windshield (a different day).
#1 has a touch of Nik Color Efex Nostalgic filter, the second has many edits, including two Topaz Studio 2 filters. I'm not sure about #2. Maybe there's too much water??
Feedback appreciated, as always.
Both are well represented as far as subject matter, yet each is so uniquely different from each other. First one uses colors that are very striking and the second one is much more realistic. Both represent the subject extremly well but my choice as which one I prefer, I'll have to say the second one. I like the second one because the drops show the special slant of each drop...which is probably due to the direction of the wind outside. No perfect little drop circular shapes, but each has a unique slant...like it very much. Years ago I made several prints of rain drops on the car's windshield, as well as in a car wash. They were fun to photograph!

Thank you very much, Veronica. I greatly appreciate your in-depth comments.
I've done in-the-carwash photos too! First time was inspired by dear Heirloom Tomato's post. Do you remember her? She died (unexpectedly) a few months after you joined UHH. A terrible loss for all of us.
Here's her carwash photo:

I like them, Linda.
Thank you Ken, so glad you enjoyed.
Both are nice Linda but but I reserve the term "beautiful" for the first one. The colors turn it into, I don't know the term, but maybe abstract is not too far from wrong.

Thank you, Jack! The Nik filter really changed the mood
#1 is striking, #2 is pretty.

First of all, thanks for sharing this marvelous image with me! I loved reading the comments everyone had to say. She seemed like a photographic superstar!!! And also, even though my bio at the beginning of each posting says I joined in 2013, that was quite a while ago...and I stopped posting somewhere after then ...spending 20 years in Pennsylvania. It's only been in the recent past that I "came back" to UglyHH. L-o-n-g story inbetween!
