Someone gave me a Canon Power Shot SX40 HS without the instruction manual (joy). I'd like to try using it to copy some negs for reversal. When I turn it on I can get as close as 1" to an object. I have a sheet of white plastic that will sit in the window so I wondered if I could make some kind of negative holder that could be taped to it. Using a tripod and having a better understanding of the camera would be helpful. Any user manuals on UHH for this passe camera ? Thanks

Look for a "Digital Field Guide to..." whatever your camera is. Amazon should have it... better than an instruction manual.
