I haven't posted here for a long time. I did some astro shooting last night with my 400mm lens and canon T5i using a H-alpha filter . This is 112 image stack at 60 seconds each and 3200 ISO on a Sky Watch HQ5 mount. Process in Fast Stone image editor (free )

Proof of what the a DSLR can do without a telescope. Nice image.

Good job, the more you shoot on this target the more nebulosity comes out . you've got a good start on the HH nebula. I'm not in very good health, I hope to be capturing some photons on the horsehead this year.

Nice shot. The Ha filter really brings out the nebula.
