Second post.
Again, pretty quiet.
But you can't beat that Fall color!
The Snow Geese usually follow behind the Sandhill Cranes and they are this year too. Lots more S.H. Cranes than Snow Geese, right now, but the Snow Geese stay here longer.

Chief, that gorgeous orange in your outstanding shots 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡 really blows me away (And that's a superb shot of Mother Goose. I didn't realize you two were contemporaries 😖)

Thanks. That's just one of the things that makes Bosque special. Those are cottonwood trees. No color saturation going on from me or my camera! And the orange grasses, same-same!

Thank you, NMGal! Yes they are! Cottonwoods! You have to be careful camping around them. They are called "Widow Makers" because they drop branches, big branches, unexpectedly. But beautiful in the Fall!
