Four years ago I sat in my livingroom filling out the paperwork required in buying a car. Once finished I placed all the paper back into the Fed-Ex envelope and waited to get out to the drop-box. I took this photograph of the rear deck and wondered if we would ever see the summer weather required for that car. This was a little early but not unusual. We have had more.

Yesiree! I am right on the line, a little bit east of this sign. Toronto, Canada and Bangor, Maine are south of my location! We get our fair share of snow, and lots of other people's snow too! 10 years ago Big Blue froze over and we really got cold. Lake Michigan keeps us warm enough that the fruit trees survive the winters. When it freezes so do we. At least the snow stopped falling! Then, on the first weekend of March we had a 3' snow fall that even disrupted cell-phone service. The emergency power for the cells comes from batteries, and when the juice runs dry.............
Looks a little chilly David.

Nice shot but I think I'd go back to bed.
Nice shot of wet snow on a nippy day.
Nice frosting on that cake!
Pretty snow shot, but I am not anticipating such goings-on.
