Late Wednesday afternoon. The Colorado River above the Potash put-in/take-out, Airport Tower, the Dolphin Detention Center (a.k.a., the potash evaporation ponds), and Elvis Rock.
Very nice. Looks like an unusual place.
Love your selfies, Cany! And glad to see you're keeping my jeep in good shape!
And, depending on how you look at it, we are ALL, at least the ones on the equator, going close to twenty four thousand miles per hour (.1 MPH!!) on this spinning sphere that we call home. And even faster if you consider the Milky Way galaxy's relationship to surrounding space!
It's a wonder that we aren't all so dizzy that we can't stand still long enough to take/make a photograph!
Who needs tripods!!
Okay, I'll go take a nap now!

What? No accommodation for how frighteningly fast we're all travelling while we're in this worm-hole we're all in? Yoor slippin', Cheef! You apparently DO need that nap!
Cany143;
Descending Shafer Trail Road and the driving on Potash Road ten years ago was my first ever 4WD experience- - and it was both exciting and beautiful.
Absolutely love pictures from there..
Yours today are stunning, especially the none of the balancing boulder.
I always look forward to your posts.

Great light in the second picture!

I have to correct my MPH statement. It's been bothering me! The surface of the Earth at the equator moves at 1000 MPH. The diameter of the Earth is 24 thousand miles. That's what gives us a 24 hour day. We revolve around the Sun at more than 67,000 mph.!!
What can I say? I'm old!
Ah, yes and yes, and yes!!!
A wonderful set of photos, Cany.
Great set. really like the lighting in #2.
