I think #1 is your best bet if you are trying to tell a story. Because there is just the boat and the sea you can infer many things about the scene. Plus the clouds in this one could be the beginning of a gathering storm
#2 passing in front of the piece of land is not the best look with the bushes "growing out of the deck". There is also something in the lower right that looks like it doesn't belong.
#3 is 2 ships out for a leisurely sail.

Thanks, Dodie. I appreciate your opinion.

All great, but if I had to choose it would be #1.
Thanks. That one is edging ahead in the voting.

I like #2 the best!
Thanks. The voting is so close among the three.

Uno. They are all nice, but the first one with light on the boat and with color speaks to me. Then number 3.
Thank you. This one is slightly ahead in the voting, but it is close.
I like #1 the most. They are all beautiful.

Very nice - I'd pick #1
Thanks, Bill. That one is the narrow leader.

Thank you. No. 1 is edging ahead.
# 1 is nice because of the eerie visibility of the white sails; not too common in sunset silhouettes. In '73, I "discovered" Mallory Square on my first trip to Key West. Very few people there at sunset, but seemed to be a few odd hippies, a street performer or two, and a man with a huge iguana on a leash. In town, at the end of US 1, was an economized stop light. It had 3 incandescent lightbulbs in the center. The bottom lights on two sides were red, and the top was green. The other two sides of course, were normal. Wish I had taken a photo of it, but was conserving film in my Kodak Signet 40.

It varies. There was a cruise ship there when I was just there, which inhibited the view.
For me it is ONLY number 1. Number 2 is far too dark and lacks any details at all. Number 3 is just too cluttered and whatever is on the left side is just something for people to wonder about.
