It looks like the sandpipers have left. These guys are back.
I am not sure if they are Willits or Dunlins.

Great shot TopCat. The big gray bird in the upper foreground is a Willet the rest are a mixture of Least and Western Sandpipers

I thought that the big one was a willet, but I didn't know what the others were. They do look like sandpipers. Someone that was there told me that the sandpipers were leaving, but it looks like they are still here.
I thought that they were sandpipers, but I wasn't sure.

Thank you. It is when they move. For a lot of time, they just sit three, and then suddenly they all take off at once. They circle around for a while, then come back and land.
A lot of time waiting. Good thing that there are other interesting people there to talk to.
