SCOTUS passes Code Of Ethics

Unfortunately, the code has no oversight, no enforcement and no oversight.
The code is simply the practice they have now, allowing every Justice to "police" themselves.

This is totally inadequate and the corruption and misconduct will continue

The difference between should and shall!

They published their limp as a dishrag "code of ethics" in the hopes of fending off any further Senate actions, including further investigations or legislation.

Within minutes of their publication the public and the Senate have already seen through their deception.

To use some baseball terms:

It was a Swing and a Miss.

SCOTUS pitched the ball into the dirt.

They dropped the ball if SCOTUS thought anyone would buy their bunt!

If Congress had a decent code of ethics, they would impeach Thomas and Alito.
