Probably right, but not as concentrated in one place as here, and not as protected outside the National Park.

Cheers

NOT probably right. It's a fact!

I get you, happy.

This is about the locations, and the best recommended locations in the country to see the Sagauro cactus are the Sagauro National Park, East and West, where they are protected. It's a fact.

(quote) "Tucson, Arizona is home to the nation's largest cacti. The giant saguaro is the universal symbol of the American west. These majestic plants, found only in a small portion of the United States, are protected by Saguaro National Park, to the east and west of the modern city of Tucson. Here you have a chance to see these enormous cacti, silhouetted by the beauty of a magnificent desert sunset."

Cheers and best to you. It's a fact.

Have several of his books covering various regions. They are very handy for finding photo spots (including some off the beaten tourist track) and suggestions for shooting under particular conditions.

There are several slot canyons in the Page area, other than Antelope. Having said that, you can still take photos in Antelope, just not with a tripod (guides are very good with helping with photos). Not sure if there are 'photo tours' of other slot canyons. But... since you are in that area, don't miss Horseshoe Bend, head for Kanab, Utah (movie capital of the area), then head to Zion NP, Bryce NP, Capital Reef NP (I believe Kodachrome Basin is in that area), while driving along Rte. 12 (scenic byway), be prepared to stop frequently... its lovely! Drive around to Moab, Utah and see Canyonlands NP, Dead Horse State Park, Arches NP (my favorite), then head south... there is a small park with Natural Bridges, then down to Monument Valley, then east to Cortez and Mesa Verde NP. This is a lot of driving, but these places are a photographer's dream!
