Thanks for the welcome. I was here some years ago but left when I was eviscerated when I posted some snapshots with a new lens. I'll be more careful this time and not post any pictures.

I hope you reconsider and post pictures. As PAR4DCR said unfortunately there are trolls on every site. Don't let it ruin your experience. I'm here to learn and to enjoy others' work. The best way for me to learn is to take pictures and post. By the way, looking at your signature line 'Singing Santa Clyde' I get the feeling you're a fun guy to be around

When it comes to critiquing photographs, too many people provide negative feedback when none is being solicited. On the other hand, when you post your work in the public, you have to have thick skin. As stated, too many trolls and many whom delight in hurting people’s feelings as it makes them feel superior. Ignore them as they have little minds.
