This car provided a mixed bag of results for Ferrari. It was leading the Mille Miglia at a record pace when it was retired because of mechanical issues. It placed second at the Nurburgring event. It was a DNF ( did not finish ) at Le Mans. Phil Hill drove it to a first, first, and third at three races in the Nassau Speed Weeks series.

Wow! That’s my kind of Ferrari - pure race car. Great shots!

It may have had it's problems but that is still a fine looking Ferrari Tom.

Thanks, Brian.

On a good note.... on the tail end of its racing career, they had pretty much eliminated the problems they encountered early on. It won a couple of more big races.

Hey, Don.

They had pretty much exorcised the devil out of the car by the time they retired it from racing.

Thanks for looking in.

I don't think I can improve on your assessment. It is one gorgeous car.

Beautiful set Tom. That was when Ferraris were really special and not just expensive.

By the time this car's time was up, it had added a win at, the then, prestigious Grand Prix of Venezuela and a second at the Grand Prix of Sweden.

Thanks, Jack.

You're spot on with that assessment. Enzo Ferrari was flexing some serious muscle and putting out some exciting rides.
