Yesterday at Zephyrhills, FL there was a WWII display and battle enactment. I got there at 0800 and stayed for 6 hours in the sun with 90 degree temps. I couldn't last until 1500 for the battle these are the static shots I took. That WWII vet in the last photo is 99 years old!

Congratulations on submitting some of the best Reenactment photos I have seen including accurate photos of uniforms and firearms etc. Very nice.

My dad was a drafted sailor on a battleship for the Normandy invasion. When he died 50 years ago we found a pocket journal he kept. I've transcribed it to a .pdf that I email to anyone interested in WWII history. If you want a copy, send me a PM with your email.

Thanks, I was sorry to miss the enacted battle, but my 79yr old butt had had it,lol.
