Foggy, but clearing day, 46 F, tide coming in.
The migration is on! Ducks everywhere in the fog. Hundreds of ducks-Green wing Teal, American Wigeon, Mallards, Pintail, Mergansers, Cormorants, Great Blue Herons, Bald Eagles all flying around in the fog. Even with the cool temps and fog, atmospheric distortion reared its ugly head.
Z9, 600pF attached. Colors were subdued in the foggy light. The AF worked well in these lees than optimal conditions. All shots were made handheld at 100+yards!

We see ducks everywhere - but I never get tired of them and their appealing little "smiles." Love the shot, especially the ones in which they frolick in the water no matter the temperature ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great set Timothy.
We are getting migratory birds coming up the Mississippi flyway (ducks, Eagles and Swans erc). It's been cold (30s) but it should warm up to the mid 50s in a few days
