8 people can't block it. The problem with McCarthy is that he wanted an coniinuation when there was plenty of time to get a budget done. That led to his recall. That's not going to happen to Johnson at this point. He'll be given A continuation in order to work a budget out, but don't look for anything long term. The guy's just been elected. They're not going to oust him after, what, two weeks?
