I got lucky this morning and the clouds cleared up long enough to get some shots of conjunction of the Moon and Venus. The shots below were taken with a DSLR using a 500mm, 70mm and 24mm lens. (Only the 500mm were taken on a tracking mount). I did forget to set the camera clock back so the times in the photo meta data are still in daylight savings time. All questions comments and suggestions are welcome.
This one was taken at 3:08AM just as the moon cleared the horizon making it very orange and showing some atmospheric distortion. distor

This 1/2 exposure brought out the earthshine. Taken at 3:42AM using the 500mm at F4.0

This 4 second 70mm shot caught a couple of meteorites to the left of the moon at 4:12 AM.
