I have a Lensbaby Velvet 56mm and for some reason it won't mount to my Nikon D800's and lock in but will mount to a "Z" adaptor that I use with my Z7ii. Anyone else experience this? Lensbaby wants $40. for service? I think it a product defect. Thanks. BTW, I have several LensBaby's and I do love the product.

Worst case scenario is only $40. That limits how much effort is justified in negotiating. Best of luck, but keep it real.
