Beautiful set Bill. Don't often the little tuft of feathers that give this bird its name

Thank you Jack
He must have been excited. I caught his crown up in 4 or 5 images but only one of those was workable.

What Flash extender have you been using ?

These were natural light. No flash because we were doing a bit of a hike.

Took a small hike at Lums Pond in N Delaware yesterday.

Connected with Ruby Crowned Kinglets right off the bat.
Because we were doing a trail vs sitting for birds I did not have the tripod/flash rig with me.
It would have been helpful, maybe.
These little birds hardly ever sit still, even sitting still they arr moving. Out of 128 images I have maybe 6 worth working with. I think these were the best.

Nice shots Bill.

The second shot is masterful, Bill.

Very nice. It seems there was plenty of light without the flash.

Thank you Jack. These birds seemed to like the camera. Sometimes I was backing up to allow focus

Hi Joy,
Thanks very much.
I think you are correct. I have seen more Kinglets in the past couple weeks then I ever have before.
