I think the end of fall....
So, yes I am not good at deciding what is the best composition. I suppose it will vary from person to person. I could never be a pro that sells photos as I could not decide which is the best.
So thanks for your patience when I post a few of the same subject. It is hard when I find something very beautiful.
Beautiful set except for the road. I think Centered Best on the first shot

Yes, hard to choose. I like them all for one reason or another. I never find the simple concept "The Best" best or valid. Of your first scene, I would like to see
the one you did not do or share: Full wide image like the first but slightly of center, say taken with the camera a little more to the left.
Best is relative, mostly to the viewer.
And it depends if they are viewing aesthetically or technically.
A beautiful set. Thanks for sharing. I like everyone of them.
Don't know about "technically" but artistically they are ALL the "best"! I would bet that if you were at a booth at the fair or in a gallery, they would all sell pretty much equally. But I've never sold a photo, so what do I know?!
Having said that, "closer and off center" does it for me!
What a great post and collection of photos!!
Great set, Beth. Like the last image which is its own story for all of us. No reason to justify what you post. Your work does that for you.
WOW!!! What incredible photos you have presented. Thank you. Of the first three I like number 1 the best.
Dennis
They are all spectacular, yes even the road.
Frankly, all of them are excellent. I prefer the off-center & closer shot - it makes the fall color more prominent in the image. Love the shots around the mine.
