I spent most of this week at my sister-in-law's place in Victorville, CA. My wife is out of the country with two of my kids and I felt like having a bit of adult company. Also, if I got sicker, she could help with the kids.
Spent most of the week in bed, but did drag myself out to cook dinner for my daughter on her birthday. Being that it was the night before Thanksgiving, I was pretty limited in the cake department. I ended up buying a pack of cupcakes and some candles.
I am limited on PP in Victorville. They have my old Dell with 15 gigs free space on the hard drive. It has Infranview, Paint.net and NXview(yuk).
The birthday ninja trying to insert candles.
Sister-in-law lighting the candles
Thinking about the wish.
In my 13 years of marriage, I have never seen anyone blow their candles without an assist

I especially like the "thinking about the wish" but they are all great family pics. Get well.
Are you the guy who had the terrible back pain? Forgive me for losing track...what did that turn out to be? Also forgive my candid question: I intend no rudeness. If you aren't the one who had the back pain, just make something up. Either way, I wish you health!

I may have been. Except it was in my side. Did radiate to my back though.
Turned out to be a UTI and possible stones. Feeling better now, though the pain is trying to come back.

Yep, you're the guy. I predicted kidney stones because I'd had them and recognized the agony. Very sorry!
