In my many years living in Maine, I saw similar breathtaking beauty.
For me this image could be improved by cropping out some of the white sky and cropping out the white water, especially that which includes the blue & purple treetop reflections. Those are just a skosh too much

On the positive side it is generally a nice composition. Remove the reed (?) in lower left corner and crop a bit of the sky as suggested earlier. Then try a few levels of color without overbearing the reflection. Should prove to be good practice for future efforts.
