I initially was very happy with the standard of the past couple of years and found the new changes irritating. I have now revised my viewing habits and think perhaps the administrators are due a thank you from me. Using the new options I only open the following two topic headings: non photo chit-chat and the photo gallery. I now rarely visit any of the others. In doing so, I have greatly reduced the time I spend daily on the UHH website.
I am not sure if that was the intent, but it is now working for me.

I am curious to know how the changes affected your use of the site; and/if you have made any changes to your normal viewing routine. Thanks,

Since I never used the digest I didn't know that there was the change until I read the post about it from people like you.

Nope, no changes as I don't subscribe to The Digest.

I've been doing the same. The change has seemed to reduced my interest in photography in general.

I just look at Newest Topics and review the titles.
Takes less than a minute.
And Newest Topics contains things that didn't make it into The Digest.
