I finally recovered most of my long lens shots (Sony 600mm with a 1.4 tc) from Yellowstone.
#1 is from the Lamar Valley. The antelope did not get closer nor would not look my way. The rest of the set is from the Hayden Valley where I could get support leaning against the car. We had a very large group cross the road in front of us and most of those shots filled my lens.
First is right outside the north gate (24-120 lens) and the second was a stare-down between Rescue Creek and the confluence of the Yellowstone and Gardner Rivers.
Thanks, Mike, they were too close to get a wide shot.
I had a dog moment. I get the fact that smell is one of their main identifiers but sometime you just catch a moment that tickles your funny bone. That was one of them.
