This was my favorite place we stayed at when my old friend and I were in Alaska a month ago. This hotel was built before the Good Friday Earthquake.
That’s a great series. We’ve been to Seward numerous times, but we’ve never been to that hotel. Looks pretty classy, a very nice place. Love that last shot. It’s a totemic design I think. Thanks for sharing those.
Nice--looks like a great place to stay.
Come to Seward, visit the Alaska Sealife Center and go on one of the glacier tours on a boat. It’s an incredible experience. We like to go on one of those every couple years or so with Major Marine or Kenai Fjords Tours. Well worth it. And Seward is a fun place to visit, with the Sealife Center, lots of nice shops and interesting places to eat. Lots of history there.
Went to Seward specifically to do a Kenai Fjords cruise, visited Aialik Glacier on that cruise.
Great collection of an interesting place. Alaska is one place I have never been to and want to visit. The hotel looks very attractive and homey at the same time. You did a great job of bringing the photos with a story.

I have a few favorite places to see, all pretty close by. Some a ways away.
