Great work! I especially like #1, the details are clearer and I can see Marni is so much better. The feeling for nostalgia is so clearly defined. Really nice!
Very nice Larry, it's nice to see Marni again
I think we have all missed Marni! I agree with Veronica about #1. It is a very engaging and lovely creative work.
Sorry to be disagreeable
, but I prefer the richer colors in #2. I'm not familiar with Marni, but I think I'd like to get to know her/him.

Thanks for the comment... Marni is 'she' and sometimes gets into some of my pix.
I like #1 best due to the softer lines which for me tend to go along with remembering and memories. Touching to show you sharing it with Marni.
#1 is very nice. Love the colors!

I like the first one. Don't know why, exactly; but that is the one I like.

To be hopefully more articulate, this is what I prefer about #2. (1) As I mentioned, I like the richer colors. (2) When I look at the spaces among the trees, in #1 I see noise, but in #2 I see branches artistically rendered. (3) Similarly, with the leaves to Marni's left and right, the forms are vague in #1, but clearcut in #2. (4) I saw Marni immediately in #1, and she stood out from her surroundings, while in #2, the crispness of her surroundings distracted me at first, and then she stood out.
So, in general, #1 seems smooth and mushy to me, while #2 is crisp and sharp. Anyway, that's the view from my crazy perspective.
