Italian or "Indigenous"? Buffy is in the news lately because people are claiming that she weas born to an Italian couple in Stoneham, MA. Buffy had said that this couple adopted her. If that were true, it would still show the names of those parents, but it would show the birth location as Saskatchewan. This is an awful way for Buffy to end her career - fighting allegations.

Yes, but her TV show was canceled after several years. The show was taking too much time from her "slaying," and she had to get back to it. The show also gave her too much publicity, and the vampires were beginning to watch out for her.

None of this silliness changes her excellent music which is her true legacy. I especially remember her from the song “Circle Game” from the movie “The Strawberry Statement” and “The Universal Soldier” anti-war protest.

"Back in the day" it was not unusual to "fudge" the birth certificates of adoptees,
To protect the birth mother and father, and the baby, from legal and social shenanigans.
Now we have DNA- and it gets real interesting sometimes.
Service Folk from 40s thru the 60 stationed thruout the country?
Many of therir progeny are finding "cousins" all over the place.
I'm over 70; and since I was 10 I've heard that in @ 10% firstborns- that ain't the father.
It was kinda common for firstborns to be birthed early, too.
Plus it's typical RINO strategy. Can't argue with the message, attack the ,messenger.

She says that she has no idea who her birth parents might have been. She certainly looks indigenous to me and an indigenous community says she's family, with or without proof. I don't think the press should think they're doing anyone a favour by trying to ruin decent people's lives.

Apparently, she was born into this family in MA and raised by them. She forgot that?
