Spanking New to U.H.
Hi all. Recently joined the club and have seriously enjoyed reading profiles and viewing pics; especially from newbies. I hope these can be critiqued. Thanks ahead of time.

Frank, if you're "spanking new", you need to get together with user Liv2Paddle... :)
And why would that be? Are they into macro/landscape as well? Also, would you mind critiqueing my photos for me?!
Thanks.
Welcome. I too am new and from WA. Love your pics, they are great. The waterfall is my personal favorite :)
Is there a different part of the forum to display these and ask for another critique?
BTW - thank you for yours! Personally, I like them all; however, the bumblebee seems to have captured my heart and has become my "masterpiece" so-to-speak!
Where in WA? I'm in Federal Way.
I know what you mean, I love macro too. The butterfly house at the science center in Seattle is one of the best places to get year round shots. I am from Edmonds....Not too far north of Seattle

Very nice all..the bumblebee is my favorite. I think I might have tried to lighten the flower on its backside to bring up more detail on the bee.

Ummm..unless you've already figured it out I was making a play on words.. "Spanking new", "Liv2Paddle"...
The two water shots are well done. The b/bee seems to have it's admirers well in hand.
Pictures for comment & critique should be posted in threads in the PICTURES forum.
Thank you JimH for your comments and suggestions. After the fact I discovered where the "Pictures" section was and posted these there as well.
Thank you all!
P.S. The bumble bee shot wasn't enhanced! That is exactly as shot! The flower was truly that vibrant.
The bumblebee is a fantastic shot, and I can understand why it's your favorite. They're all great. I happen to be a sucker for flowers and the color blue, so the one with the Siberian irises is my favorite. Great work!
Here are a few more that you may like. What do you think?
The dragonfly is great. I find them very difficult to photograph because they never hold still. Excellent job!
