Thank you, Jim, for viewing and commenting. I have no particular secret except for pressing the front of the lens right against the outer wall of each enclosure (I have a clear protective filter), without the lens hood of course. A rubber lens hood which can be flexibly pressed against the glass enclosure to shut out ambient light would be even better, but the one I bought years ago does not fit my new lenses.
Luckily for me, the ambient light in Ripley's was quite minimal.
The technique does not work for the shark tank when the shark swims overhead, which is a great view!

Thank you Chief for the feedback. Encountering these fish while scuba diving must be great, up close and personal! However, even without the aquarium enclosure glass in the way, photography must be more challenging! 😀
