Oh What Fun I'm Having Today

In preparation for my trip to Florida I'm duplicating all programs on my Vaio Laptop from my Alien Desktop I built.
Sure glad I have a backup disk with all my programs and google gets me the correct procedure to transfer files. Just did my email, quicken, Microsoft Office 2010 Pro, Expressions 4, Corel Paintshop Pro X4, WS-FTP Transfer, Revo Uninstaller, Adobe Acrobat X10 and still have a few minor utility programs for Web Site Work to do. Everything is turning out ok and only on 3rd cup of coffee.

I use office 10 pro. I upgraded from office 2003. What a difference!! I also use Re=vo Unislaller, it does a nice job for me. I kept track of the programs that I deleted and when I had serviced I told him to look in the registry for a couple of them. He did and found nothing. Hope you enjoy Florida, post some photos :thumbup: :thumbup:

Thanks. I love Office 2010 Pro and am thinking of experimenting with Windows 8. Who knows, I could screw up everything I've done. Got to remember Quicken on here now and not the desktop. Guess I'll try to make this new laptop my main communications/photo thingy and only use the desktop for gaming and high end photo work.

Sarge... a fail safe method I have learned over the years...never attempt complex computer tasks without whiskey in your coffee...that way if things dont work out..you really dont care.

You'll enjoy your Vaio Sarge...I have had 2 of them...one just up and died after 6 years of stellar performance.
We have run the gambit in laptops, Dell, Gateway, Toshiba Asus..But the Vaio is the finest of them all.

The computer stuff is interesting, and always draws various veiwpoints, but WHAT ARE YOU TAKIN' FOR PHOTO GEAR ? And will we get to see some results later ?
