Grand Canyon.
On our way south this year, we camped in a nice, small town in Northern Arizona called Fredonia. Known as the gateway to The North Rim of the Grand Canyon on the Arizona Strip. The Arizona Strip is almost famous as the strip of land between the North rim of the Canyon and Utah's southern border. It used to be a wild and wooly country, thinly populated, home to the Kaibab tribe of Ute Indians and later on, a few cattle ranches. It was tough to make a living in that remote, high elevation country with deep snows in the winter and hot and dry with little rain during the summer, especially in the lower regions of southern Utah. In the higher elevations closer to the Canyon there is a herd of wild Buffalo and a lot of Elk with some BIG Bulls!
My heart lives there. Beautiful image. Thanks for posting.

That's a good way to put it! I lived in the area in the early seventies. I've lived many other places since then, overseas and in the States, but that is still home for me!
Thank you!
Beautiful image..well done
