This is an interesting set of buildings I ran across the other day--never saw a pair quite like these.
Always felt dome homes and barns would stand up to violent weather better than standard homes.

They are unusual, for sure. I, too, would like to know the rationale behind the decision to go round. As someone else mentioned, it may revolve around wind resistance factors.
