So I had the idea of a person who died and their ghost is leaving the body. And the idea that while the ghost is leaving the body, the spouse who died previously returns to be reunited with her husband in the afterlife.

To do this I set the camera on a tripod. 8 second exposure. flash on second shutter sync. With Canon you set this in the flash, I think with other brands you may set it in the camera settings.

He laid on the couch. I pressed the shutter and counted 1..2..3..4..5..6 and then had him sit up. about 2 seconds later the flash fired when the shutter closed.

The same principle was used in the second photo. This time she stepped into the frame as he sat up.

I think they are cool. I hope you enjoy them.

Is the second shutter sync the same as rear shutter sync?
