KTJohnson is on the road this week so I will step in for him.
Let's try something a bit different this week. This image was a free image from Pixels, photo taken by Viktor Mogilat.

In the edits for this week remove the guy but add something else, can be anything, a bike a lamp post, flowers just something, while adding something don't forget about its shadow. Change the mood of the picture, time of day, lighting, weather, or maybe texture overlay. Looking for something to add your own creative twist to the image.

If you use an action, a unique texture, or some filter please let us know. For this week you can add two different images if you like. Want to see if we can draw a few more people to the challenge.

Feel free to download this image to your computer. When you are finished, post your edit in this thread. Edits will be accepted until 9 p.m. Eastern time on Thursday. No edits will be accepted after that time because we will begin voting then. Thank you for your efforts and your participation.

I figured that. Hopefully it will be the start of a lot of entries.

Not my Photograph so I'll also enter this challenge. I worked on this image as color till the very end. Everything was done in Photoshop 2024.
Here are a few editing steps. Started by changing the sky using Select Sky then replaced it with one of my images. Next removed the man and fill with Content-Aware fill. Did'nt do the best job so touched it up with the Clone tool. Next, I added the lamp post with a .png image I found on DEVIANT ART. Changed the whole tone of the image with an orangie color layer set to Overlay. Changed opacity setting the desired mood. At this time I thought I was finished although looked somewhat artificially forced. I tried a Black & White std layer and decided it looked more realistic. Added a little contrast and finished.

So much interesting activity in this image, I kept opening and closing it to see what caught my eye the most. For me it was the spires of the buildings reaching for the heavens, so I emphasized a couple.

Colour sandwich. Bit of work to do on selections but this will have to do for now.

Too late to the party to submit for vote, but played with generative AI. Removed all clutter of modern days stuff from the street and then converted to an oil painting using generative fill. Thought I'd share here.

It's a little late but will still add it to the slides. You might pull it out. Never know.
