Gaudi and Park Guell. Part 2 of 4

We were there about 4 years ago. Awesome place. Gaudi architecture could also be found in the Sagrada Familia. Barcelona is a nice place - architecture, Olympic park, Las Rambla walk, outdoor eateries a place to enjoy!
If I may ask what camera equipment and lens were you shooting with ? Colors and clarity are amazing. Thanks.
Hi. We visited all the places you just listed and, as I'm sure you have, went to quite a few others as well. As it happens, I just recently posted photos of La Sagrada Familia, and will soon be posting one final set, for now, of Gaudi stuff.
My camera?? Are you ready for this?? The amazing "colors and clarity" in my photos all come from a humble little 16mp bridge camera: the Canon SX60. I gave up schlepping a large bunch of glass when I retired back in 2000, and now only carry that, and an even dinkier Panasonic pocket camera when I travel ... which I do a lot.
Hoe did you manage to get shots free of the crowds? I especially "love "those who drape themselves over the place so that they can spend minutes having their photo taken by their entire travel group, one at a time.
This place has a Disneyland feel, only it’s for real!

That's what almost everybody who goes there says. You can certainly see why.

I described it in my narrative. I just took lots of photos of pieces of each room, one at a time, when those particular areas were free of tourists, then I stitched them together on my computer at home. Tedious, and not particularly easy to do, but it more or less worked.
I just loved all of this. Were the "lion" heads like downspouts? Or ornamentation? I was thinking as I was viewing the benches you claim to be uncomfortable, would be nice to sit at and just absorb the views and distant city.

I can't answer your question about the lion heads with certainty but, from what I learned and experienced with Gaudi, they're probably just ornamentation.
As for those benches, they were beautiful and gave a great view, but they still hurt our backs and butts.
