I am fortunate to have a friendly, helpful neighbor who also owns a pickup outfitted with all terrain tires, skid plates, etc. suitable for exploring our more difficult terrain. On September 16 he suggested showing me the Kennecott Mine from the top and then some shooting on BLM land to the west.

This first set shows the views as we went up Butterfield Canyon to reach the overlook. The next sets will show the mine and the beautiful shooting venue.
