New to Ugly Hedgehog, but so far I'm impressed with the total lack of trying to sell me something. Very refreshing. I shoot mostly with a Nikon D850 and while many think that 46MP is excessive, I love the fact that I can print 24" on the narrow side without enlarging, so I'm a big fan of the high resolution. I love shooting at night, but I need some new locations. I'm worn out on Portland. I also love shooting at the Oregon Coast and the Eastern Oregon desert.

Check out Painted Hills near Mitchell. Of course Crater Lake. The hundreds of waterfalls. Never ending beach scenes along the Pacific Coast. Prineville Res. State Park is a designated Dark Sky location. Cascade Lakes Hwy, Crooked Rive Hwy, Old Mackenzie Hwy. There is a Kodak Moment around every turn in Oregon

Down the road from you in Powell Butte. Great night shots from top of Powell Butte but watch out for large kitties.
Another good place is from top of Grey Butte. Can see from Eagle Peak down by Crater Lake to Mt. Adams from both places, but have to hike in. Also, can shoot Bald and Golden Eagles at Smith Rock. Have fun.
