Two Dragonflies

I decided to go fishing this afternoon. Fishing sucks so luckily I took my camera too. These are two dragon flies I photographed on a cement walkway leading to a fishing dock.
It is interesting to me, when I use a fill flash some insects like spiders or these dragonflies turn their heads toward the light afterward. They know something is going on.

Nice shootin' Dennis. Your male is a Black Meadowhawk while the female is an Autumn Meadowhawk although the legs seem a bit dark. Meadowhawks are late season flyers.
