Hard to be sympathetic with Rite-Aid. In the '90's, their business model was to put a store in every small town and undersell local Mom & Pop pharmacies, forcing them out of business. After they accrued all the closed pharmacies' customers, Rite-Aid would close most of their local stores forcing customers to drive long distances to a central, larger Rite-Aid in another town. Now they can't compete with CVS and Wahlgrens? Too bad.
I don't understand why people continue to go to brick and mortar pharmacies when you can get prescriptions by mail.
