As predicted the skies cleared early evening, the only thing I had to do was await my chosen target to reach a decent altitude above the eastern horizon.
By 2200hrs, Taurus had risen & my chosen target M45, Pleiades was visible.

One of my favorite targets, but I never took the necessary time to get enough data for an image like this. Excellent.

Thanks mate.
My moto, the more data the better.
I'm not getting enough clear skies at the moment so when the skies are clear I'm out imaging virtually till sun rise.
Every photon counts

Excellent shot of the Pleiades. The color is and detail is outstanding. I could find at least 4 PGC galaxies in the image including, PGC 13992 at magnitude 16.95 (upper left in the image), PCG 13696 at magnitude 17.29 somewhat in the M45 nebula center right , PGC 13557 at magnitude 15.94 farther to the right, and PCG 13484 at magnitude 17.30 more to right and a bit from the previous galaxy. There appear to be others but they don't show up in my charts.

Many thanks mate.
I do have the RA / DEC saved in APT so could re-visit this again to gather more data on the dust clouds.
Apparently there is a lot of Ha present too.
Thus may use nbz dual filter

Beautiful Marc!
I'm going to see if I can get in on that action. At least see how it frames up.
I keep looking up at Orion when I go out to do my flats @ 05:00-05;30ish. Stellarium has it (M42) good at around 23:30 ish to dawn for my spot on the globe.
I'm always up for some fresh ideas. Even if they are old targets, my equipment has changed. (for the better)

Thanks Mate
M45 is one of my first goto's when winter descends upon us in the UK.
Getting the data for the surrounding dust can be a mission, let alone processing it.
I am hoping the weather here in the UK is better than summer but for past week or so we have had constant rain.
Good luck & take care mate
