I found a pretty cool gadget for my iPhone 15 Pro Max. Actually, it works with any smartphone.

Maybe someone posted this before on here but if not, it's called a Snap Grip by Shift Cam.

It's a magnetic grip that you mount on your phone. Gives you a grip just like a camera. It's pretty cool and gives you much better control of handling your phone while taking pictures or video. They have other accessories too.

Bought it on Amazon for like 70 bucks. It controls your shutter via bluetooth. Has a battery in it. Good balance.

I would think so. If not, just google it.

I like this one. It does take away from the compactness of the phone, but if you’re going to be doing a lot of shooting it would be a real asset. Looks like you can just pull it off and put it in a pocket until you need it.

Yes, have tested it last night.
Yes, you can just pull it off and put it in your pocket
I was at a birthday party last night and used it extensively. Will provide a review when I get the photos ready shortly.

Not magnetic, but similar for $18!

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086C3N1SN/?coliid=I3FRNR2SO04T6U&colid=1WTGH7252T47J&psc=1&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it

Beware of those magnets. We were in Italy. My friend was the designated driver. After parking in a public lot we would pay at the kiosk to get out. It would issue a ticket to be inserted in the automatic gate. We were the tourists that failed. Every time we tried to exit, the gate refused to open and we became the hated ugly Americans that blocked the exit. My friend was putting the exit coupon in his new magnetic money clip that neutralized the code strip.

I have no horse in this race, but I’m curious why you think the $18 one is no good? I’d be tempted at $18, but $59 would require a bit more thought. But if the cheap one is no good... 🤷🏻‍♂️

I could see where that could be a problem. This should be safer to use.

If you’re referring to my comment, I should clarify. I was referring to the magnets cancelling the code on the parking card.

I think he may have meant that my story about magnets ruining parking stubs was "No Good".

I checked out the cheaper one.

Although yes, considerably more expensive, the magnetic one releases very quickly and I like its feel. When I am done shooting I just detach it and stick it in my back pocket.

Also it is part of a “system” you can buy or add on to.

And it looks more streamlined.

But if one is on a tight budget, the less expensive one would probably be just fine.
