A Mount Rainier Memory

2014, with my super-zoom Canon sx50. People around here call lenticular clouds cap clouds when they hang over the mountains. I was very fortunate to capture this because it was already starting to de-form as I took the photo.

Thank you very much, Don. I was able to photograph another cap cloud over Mt Rainier, from a different location, a year later. So awesome to live within a couple of hours of this majestic mountain!

Yep....I've seen it once...(didn't have a camera)...good range of contrast. Thanks for the memories

Thanks Ron. I always felt bad for the tourists who were there when Miss Rainier refused to show herself. I, on the other hand, was busily taking photos of the fog

Beautiful image. Nice clean whites, blacks are not blocked up. Great tonality.
