Hi, had no problem using my Canon Pro100 printer with iOS Monterey, using the Canon Plug in. But with Ventura iOS this is the message I get when I try to print through Canon plug in. This is the message I get "Print Studio Pro will not work properly at the current resolution." So I can't use my printer.
Canon couldn't help me. They said to call Apple. I'm using the same picture resolution as on Monterey and it worked just fine. So they said to call Canon back!! which I did and they said to call Adobe, which I did. Adobe could only help me through LR. but the 13X19 templates just don't do the 1" border correctly and they said as far as the plug in goes its Canon's problem!! So I'm back to square one. the printer had no problem printing the same resolution with Monterey but with Ventura it's a problem. Can someone help me solve this?
Thanks in advance.
Mickey.
Try downloading new drivers and plugin from Canon.
It took 2 hours talking back and forth with Apple and Canon. Had to change the resolution on my MacBook Pro to Default. Then Canon after many tries finally said let's try one more time! Trashed the old Plug In and reinstalled it.
Printer works now!! It was quite an easy solution but no one knew until I got this one person at Canon. She did tell me don't update in the future, because it's always a big problem!
Thanks for your help.
Apple's Ventura OS "upgrade" has been a disaster for my MacBook. They have recently issued 2-3 fixes to alleviate some of the problems, but I'm still having problems.

Just for clarity, it’s macOS, not iOS.

Canon seems to have fixed it for now, but let’s see how that works out! Had to reinstall all plugins. And change the resolution on my MacBookPro M1 to default. The print is so small on the MacBook that I can hardly see it, I do have a monitor, which helps with the print size. And have to go back and forth to change the resolution each time I use my MacBook. Canon did say if it’s too much trouble to go back to OS Monterey. Which I might do.

Thanks for pointing out the error!

It’s working now after re installing plugins and drivers. Easy solution, but no one at Canon knew until I got this woman! She knew immediately! I guess Canon needs to bring their employees up to date with Apple. And Apple needs to do the same as they were just as ignorant.
