This gist is this: The attack was two years in the planning stage. Hamas doesn't care about the Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip, they're only useful as martyrs to sway public opinion against Israel. By extension Hamas has no interest in truly governing that area, it's only use is a convenient base of operations for attacks against Israel.

Don't be so drastic. We would miss you and your daily does of nonsense. Seriously though, you should consider inviting him over. You might learn that a different POV expressed face to face would be beneficial to your mental health.
