Was a Seasonal Ranger-Naturalist. Absolutely the best job of my life but I couldn't live on seasonal pay.

No but I always had to be careful, I had a five foot Western Diamond Back that lived under the trailer. It was either that or packrats and the snake was quieter.

That's pretty desolate land down there, with the bonus of the most dangerous stretch of highway in AZ. Did you hear any bombing runs? Organ Pipe is pretty close to a very large test range.

Is that you in the Ranger outfit? In 1968 my then new wife and I camped in a very small pup tent on a 12,000 mile trip around the west. The tent was not as long as I was tall, so there was a bit of scrunching involved. We missed this place.
BTW, great quality scans. May I ask which scanner you use?

Beautiful land down there. Test range must farther west

Actually the trailer was my NPS supplied housing. Rent was deducted from my pay check for it.
