Thank you Brian. I appreciate your comments.

Youโ€™re asking ME????? ๐Ÿค“๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ˜€ I have no idea. I enjoy photographing these things but canโ€™t remember their names other than Fred and Ethel. I doubt it is a wolf spider. Hope not anyway. Some of our experts will know.

Thank you very much Sylvia. Possibly a dancing spider.

That is a beautiful spider! It's a running crab spider. I don't have the exact species in bug guide, but here is a good match: https://bugguide.net/node/view/1227015
I would be quite excited to find that one! ๐Ÿ‘

Large spiders have character... we had one call Johnathon he live on the sill of the front window...

I ponder why two of the legs are so very long... interesting how nature designs beings.

What ever his name is, he looks like heโ€™d be a great goalie.

And right on cue Mark comes to the rescue with a PROPER name of this marvelous specimen of a spider. Thank you very much Mark. As you have probably guessed by now I won't remember the exact species of anything and I would probably need help if I posted another spider like it tomorrow. But I do appreciate at least once knowing a name other than Fred. Your photo sure matches mine and it is a neat looking specimen from the spider world.

Thank you very much dpullum for an interesting comment about Johnathon on your window sill. I think the long legs are for a head start while running in a 500mm dash.
