An older file from Basque del Apache taken in 2019. It's an amazing site to see the snow geese "explode" and one is temped to try to capture the confusion. But sometimes, when shooting a group of birds relatively close up, you can find a picture within a picture. Not a great image, but my wife seem to like it when I shared it with her, so thought I would go ahead with the post. Pretty sure this is a Ross's goose, but I could be wrong. Enjoy!
Sony a9, 100-400 gm + 1.4x converter (501 mm)@f/8, ISO 400, 1/5000
Nicely done. Looks like a Ross's Goose to me, too.
