LOL,LOL,LOL,LOL
You are so misguided and misinformed, sadly. My posts here in UHH have featured the good and bad of ALL brands, but always fact-based, and fact-supported, not blind fanboyism-based like yours.
You cant even see this is good news about Canon and good news for Canon users. I have used Nikon, Canon and Leica professionally for over 40+ years before I moved over to Sony mirrorless. I have great fondness for all the brands of gear I have owned and I still have working Canon gear that I use for personal work, and also use in my 35mm B&W film course I teach at a state university.
I have won numerous National and International Photography Awards with all my gear, including my Canon gear. When I covered the War In Nicaragua, I used Canon gear exclusively for my award winning coverage.
In addition the Nikon, Canon, Leica and Sony gear, i have also owned and used excellent gear from Pentax, Mamiya, Miranda, Fuji, Olympus, Panasonic, Bronica, Hasselblad, as well as view cameras from 4X5 inch Linhoff up to 11 X14 inch Deardorf gear.
You are the one that is so blinded and consumed by your Canon fanboyism to the exclusion of accepting any and all facts, truths and realities about the photo world.
You see everything either as an endorsement or attack on the perfection of Canon. You go out of your way to troll all threads, and you take every opportunity to bash any brand other than Canon.
This thread is about good things coming for Canon, but you cant even see that. And the linked video in this thread is from a staunch, longtime Canon user ,supporter and top Canon youtuber, but you wont even watch it to know that, sadly.
I never have heard about any professional photographer being "jealous" of any camera brand, LOL. As a successful, working professional I can afford to buy and use any brand of gear that I need for my professional and personal work, and I have..
Cameras and lenses are just tools of my trade and I will use the best tools to do my work, whatever the brand. And that is why I use different camera brands and OEM and third-party lenses, flashes and accessories in my extensive kit for my professional and personal work, shooting all subjects, around the world.
And that is why my hundreds of university photography students over the years have used gear from all brands, including school bought and supplied DSLR and mirrorless gear from Nikon, Canon, Sony, Fuji, Panasonic. And as a longtime Professor of Photography that teaches these university courses in Photojournalism, Digital Photography and 35mm BW film photography, I am the one that proposes and orders the camera gear that my university buys for our photo students to use, and that includes Canon gear.
I apologize to the rest of UHHers here, but someone has got to try and help you with your overbearing fixation on Canon, and help you see the light of truth, good and bad of any and all brands.
I will continue to post good news about all brands, including Canon, like in this thread.
Cheers and all the best to you, architect.
