I shot a couple of hundred pictures this weekend with my Fuji X-T30, using my Fuji 27mm lens. I was very impressed by the performance of the compact Fuji. It was able to focus quickly and accurately, and the exposure was always spot-on using a single center focus point. I shot both JPEG and RAF (Fuji raw). As I had expected, I had much more processing leeway with the raw shots, especially with the Shadow slider (Luminar Neo).
Despite shooting with a wide-angle lens, I was able to crop way in and produce good results. Of course, "good results" is a relative term. I experimented with Luminar Supersharp for both general focus and motion blur, and it did a very good job. It's not instantaneous, though.
This carousel in Pottstown, PA was restored five years ago after twenty years of fundraising and restoring, at a cost of over $1million, all donations.

Looks like a Photo Gallery post.
Wrong section, you know better than that, Jerry.
Great shots Jerry. Color is very vivid.
I also shoot with Fujifilm X cameras. I have three and enjoy using them very much. I like the feel of the cameras and of course the IQ is great.
Yes, I find that shooting in RAW there is a lot more latitude for adjustments in the highlights and shadows.
Enjoy you Fujifilm.

So, in main discussion, someone touting the quality of their equipment needs to do so without showing evidence?
Or they must only
ask about quality, never show - unless they are a respondent?
The rules are soooo confusing.

Similar to yesterday's rules discussion, acting like you're showing off equipment capability, when you're just really sharing image(s), is against the 'rules' ....
The Rules are both ancient and just.

LOL. Fresh material is always a treat!
I'm sure Admin appreciates Ron's and your "bumping" topics (rather than simply use the "report issue" button) in order to publicly point out that they may - or may not - be in the wrong section.

And the rules are evidently open to interpretation.....

But in reality closed to all but he who works the levers behind the curtain.

Right! I didn't intend to post a picture, but I figured someone would ask for "proof" that I took pictures, so I reluctantly found one to post.
Without rules, people wouldn't have anything to complain about. And people do like to complain. Maybe this should be named the Cranky Hedge Hog forum.

I've publicly suggested that a large portion of the UHH membership consists of grumpy old men. However, that may sound a wee bit discriminatory
