My wife and I saw Chicago on 9/19 at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio. These guys can still rock it! I first saw them when I was in high school (1973 or 1974). This is the 56th year anniversary of the band, with three original members still in the group.
All photos taken with my Panasonic Lumix DC-ZS80 at ISO-5000. This is a great camera for taking into shows; haven't had it refused yet. Of course, at ISO 5000, everything needed a trip through Topaz DeNoise AI.

I believe they did; you mean ""Ballet for a Girl in Buchannon", the song also known as simply "Make Me Smile". They played mostly stuff from their early years.

The first concert I ever saw was Chicago. They weren't a big deal yet and a classmate/trombone player talked a bunch into going. Good show, not to vocal, yet.

I saw Chicago in New York City in 1974. The lead-on group was an unknown New Jersey band named Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band. Chicago was great but even then, Bruce pretty much stole the show.

Three original members still touring with the band (see the final photo). Walter Parazaider is the original saxophone player; he stopped touring in 2017 due to a heart condition.

I never liked them. Horns don't belong in real rock and roll in my mind. A really nice set, though. Each to his own.
